Using the Email Feature

Legacy Article: This article covers the legacy FMBooth (Windows + iPadOS) software. FMBooth (Windows + iPadOS) has been replaced by FMX. See FMX documentation →

Overview

The email feature in FMBooth operates offline, meaning you can use it without an active internet connection. The email queue will stay pending in the system. Once connected to a network, the emails will start to be sent.

Adding the Feature to Your Workflow

Step 1: Access the Workflow Tab

Navigate to the Workflow section of your FMBooth application.

Step 2: Add Email State

Insert a Feature state and select Email from the available options.

Step 3: Proper Placement

Place the Email feature state after the Save Final Photo feature state. This ordering ensures photos are saved before any email notifications are triggered.

Key Settings

The application provides configuration options for managing email delivery. Specific settings are accessible through the interface to customize email behavior and delivery parameters.

Offline Functionality

One of the primary advantages of this feature is its offline capability. Users can configure email actions even without internet access, and the system will automatically queue and send messages once connectivity is restored. This ensures workflow continuity regardless of network availability at your event location.
