Overview

This guide explains how to set up and display a photo booth slideshow on a secondary monitor using either a wired connection or wireless setup.

Wired Monitor Setup

Requirements

  • A secondary monitor connected to your computer
  • Two graphics ports (HDMI/DVI/Mini DisplayPort), OR
  • An external video/graphics adapter (USB to HDMI adapter) with an available USB 3.0 port

Configuration Steps

  1. Connect both monitors to your computer (the photo booth display and the slideshow dedicated monitor)

  2. Access display settings:

    • Right-click on your desktop
    • Select Display settings
  3. Set display mode:

    • Choose Extend these displays option
    • This allows independent content on each monitor
  4. Configure slideshow:

    • Set up your photo booth software to display the slideshow on the secondary monitor
    • Adjust resolution and refresh rate as needed for optimal quality

Wireless Setup (Chromecast)

For a wireless alternative, you can use Chromecast technology to stream your slideshow to a secondary display without physical cables.
