How To Use Filters
Legacy Article: This article covers the legacy FMBooth (Windows + iPadOS) software. FMBooth (Windows + iPadOS) has been replaced by FMX. See FMX documentation →
This guide demonstrates three approaches for applying filters to photos within the Foto Master Photo Booth software.
Apply Selected Filter On All Photos
Navigate to your Workflow settings and locate the DSLR Photo feature. Access its settings icon, then enable the "Apply selected filter on all photos" checkbox. Use the dropdown menu to choose your desired filter and save your selection. A settings window will appear for each filter, allowing you to customize it according to your preferences.
Apply One Selected Filter On An Individual Photo
Within the Layout tab, click the "[...]" button associated with the DSLR photo element. Open the dropdown menu, select your preferred filter, and save. This method enables you to assign different filters to each photo within the same Layout design.
Add a Photo Filter List
This option allows guests to choose and apply filters from a selection list displayed during either the Raw Photo Preview or Final Photo Preview stage.
Setup process:
- Determine whether the filter selection should appear on the Raw Preview or Final Photo Preview.
- Ensure your workflow includes either the "Preview Last Raw Photo" or "Preview Final Photo" feature states.
- Access the Workflow tab, select your chosen preview option, click its settings icon, and enable "Show Photo Filter List".
- Check or uncheck individual filter boxes to control which options guests see.
- Filters apply immediately upon guest selection.
