Signature vs. Draw on Final Photo - What is the Difference?

The Signature feature allows you to predetermine the signature's position using the Layout Tab. Once added, the signature's placeholder will be added to the Photo Layout where you control its size and location.

The Draw on Final Photo feature works differently — guests receive the final photo preview and can freely sign and draw over it without predetermined boundaries.

Feature Settings

Key configuration options include:

  • Signature W x H: Defines the drawing area size (shown with red borders)
  • Signature Top x Left: Positions the signature/drawing area on screen
  • Support Multi-touch: Enables simultaneous signing by multiple users
  • Line Size: Controls drawing line thickness
  • Show Done/Clear/Undo Buttons: Provides user controls for drawing management
  • Start Countdown On First Touch: Begins timer only after initial user interaction
  • Drawing Time: Sets duration (milliseconds) before advancing to next workflow state
  • Enable Color Selection: Displays color options when entering this state
  • Use Neon Effect: Applies neon-style pen coloring
  • Random Color On Start: When unchecked, allows manual color selection
  • Show Stamps: Activates virtual props/stamp functionality
  • Stamps Directory: Points to folder containing stamps or virtual props
  • Show Resize/Rotate/Dragging Buttons: Allows users to manipulate stamp placement and size
  • Stamp W x H: Sets stamp dimensions
  • Signature Icons Directory: References folder with signature icons

Stamps

To enable stamps, add the Signature or Draw On Final Photo feature to your workflow before Preview and Save states. Check "Show Stamps" in settings and browse to either C:\MirrorMeBooth\Stamps or C:\MirrorMeBooth\Virtual_Props depending on your preference.

Common Issues & Solutions

  1. Missing borders or drawings: Ensure "Save Final Photo" state is placed after the Draw on Final Photo feature.

  2. Broken image files: Verify Signature Icons Directory points to C:\MirrorMeBooth\Assets\Signature. For stamps, delete any hidden files from C:\MirrorMeBooth\Stamps.

  3. Signature not visible: Move the signature element forward in the left layout list by dragging it down.
