Draw on Burst Video Feature

Overview

This feature enables users to create dynamic video content by combining burst video recording with drawing capabilities. To implement this functionality, you need to configure a workflow that includes both the Burst Video feature and Draw on Burst Video, along with Live View Start/Stop states during recording.

Setup Requirements

1. Burst Video Configuration

Access the Workflow tab and configure the Burst Video settings:

Recording Parameters:

  • Time: Set duration in milliseconds
  • Frames Per Second: Adjust video frame rate
  • Recording Animation: Add animations from the Video_Animations folder or custom .png logos
  • Live View: Enable for real-time video presentation
  • Soundtrack: Optionally add background audio
  • Record Audio: Capture simultaneous sound recording
  • Merge Audio and Video: Synchronize tracks into a single file

Output Settings:

  • Output WxH: Maximum DSLR size is 960 x 640 pixels (default: 720x480)
  • Number Of Loops: Control video repetition
  • Boomerang Effect: Reverse frames to extend video length
  • Trigger Next State on Saved Video: Wait for file completion before advancing

2. Live View Settings

Navigate to Settings > Canon and enable "Override Camera settings" for proper Live View functionality. Refer to product-specific guides for detailed camera configuration.

3. Draw on Burst Video Settings

Access the Signature or Draw feature settings in the Workflow tab:

  • Signature WxH: Set drawing surface dimensions (maximum 690px for both width and height)
  • Stamps Directory: Load static or animated stamps for overlay

This configuration creates a complete workflow for capturing video while allowing real-time drawing additions.
