Enabling Live View

Canon cameras require different ISO and white balance settings for camera versus video modes. To adjust these settings for video recording, navigate to the Settings tab > Canon section and enable "Override Camera Settings."

Photo Capture Settings:

  • AE Mode: Manual Exposure
  • Aperture: 7.1
  • ISO: 400
  • White Balance: Tungsten
  • Shutter Speed: 1/125
  • Image Quality: Small2.jpeg (S2)
  • Metering Mode: Center-Weighted Average
  • Exposure Compensation: 0

Live View Settings:

  • AE Mode: Program
  • Aperture: 6.3
  • ISO: 6400 or higher
  • White Balance: Manual
  • Shutter Speed: Bulb

On the same Settings tab, define your camera orientation to ensure accurate Live View rotation.

Adding The Live View Feature in the Workflow

  1. Insert a "Live View Start" state at your preferred workflow location to initiate the Live View. This can be positioned before Burst Video/Burst Gif features or elsewhere. Any animations placed after this state will appear as overlays on the live feed.

  2. Add a "Live View Stop" state to end the Live View feature.

Live View Feature Settings

  • Camera Type: Select your camera type (DSLR/Webcam/Kinect) from the dropdown menu.
  • Width x Height: Specify the live view dimensions.
  • Fill Mode: Choose between scaling, clipping, and repeating the image.
  • Scale Mode: Select between stretching and zooming.
