How To Use The Coupon Code
Legacy Article: This article covers the legacy FMBooth (Windows + iPadOS) software. FMBooth (Windows + iPadOS) has been replaced by FMX. See FMX documentation →
Overview
The Coupon Code feature enables you to control access to specific workflow sections. Only users who enter a valid coupon code can proceed past that point and access restricted features.
Use Case Example
A common application is limiting photo prints to code-holders while allowing others to experience the booth's full capabilities. This creates a gated access point before sensitive workflow stages like printing.
Setup Instructions
Adding the Feature
- Insert a new feature into your workflow
- Select "Coupon Code" from the dropdown menu
- Position it strategically (typically before restricted features like printing)
Loading Codes
Access the feature settings via the settings icon in the Workflow tab. You have two options:
- Individual entry: Use the top-left input field to add codes one at a time
- Bulk upload: Click "Bulk Add via Copy and Paste" to load multiple codes simultaneously
Saving & Running
Click "Save" after entering your codes, then launch your workflow.
Tracking Code Usage
Once a code is entered during operation, its status updates to "Used: true" and becomes invalid for future sessions.
Monitor usage by:
- Checking the settings panel — the "Used" column displays current status
- Reviewing the CSV file stored in:
This PC > C: drive > MirrorMeBooth > Events > Preset Pack
The CSV log maintains a permanent record of all codes and their usage history.
