Queue Management: Survey Filter

Updated 5 days ago · 2 min readIntermediate

The Survey filter displays all collected survey responses for the selected event. It provides a record of every guest survey submission, including the survey type, response data, and sync status.

Accessing the Survey Filter

  • Open Queue Management from the FMX main interface.
  • Select the Survey tab from the filter bar.

Survey Columns

The Survey filter displays the following columns for each response:

  • Session -- The local session number associated with the survey answer.
  • Status -- The current sync state: Pending, Processing, Completed, or Failed.
  • Survey Type -- The type of survey question that was answered.
  • Added At -- The timestamp when the survey response was recorded locally.
  • Synced At -- The timestamp when the survey response was uploaded to Foto Master Cloud.

Supported Survey Types

FMX supports five survey question types, each collecting a different kind of response:

  • Open-Ended -- Free-text responses where guests type their own answer.
  • Single Choice -- Guests select one option from a predefined list.
  • Multi Choice -- Guests select one or more options from a predefined list.
  • Rating Scale -- Guests provide a numeric rating (e.g., 1 to 5 stars).
  • Likert Scale -- Guests indicate their level of agreement on a scale (e.g., Strongly Disagree to Strongly Agree).

Tip: Combine different survey types in a single workflow to gather both quantitative ratings and qualitative open-ended feedback from guests.

Managing Survey Queue Records

Queue Management is for local monitoring and queue maintenance:

  • Use Retry Selected for failed or pending survey sync records.
  • Use Remove Selected to remove selected local survey queue records from the event's session data.
  • Review the submitted survey data in Foto Master Cloud after the survey records have synced.

Tip: After the event concludes, wait for survey items to show Completed before reviewing survey results in Cloud.
