Queue Management: Media Filter
The Media filter displays all media sync items for the selected event. These are files that FMX uploads to Foto Master Cloud, including final photos, raw captures, videos, and GIFs. Use this filter to track upload progress, verify sync completion, and retry any failed uploads.
Accessing the Media Filter
- Open Queue Management from the FMX main interface.
- Select the Media tab from the filter bar.
Media Columns
The Media filter displays the following columns for each sync item:
- Session -- The local session number associated with the media item.
- Status -- The current state of the upload: Pending, Processing, Completed, or Failed.
- Media Type -- The category of the file, such as Final Photo, Raw Photo, Final GIF, Final Video, Raw Video, or Final Boomerang.
- Added At -- The timestamp when the media sync record was created.
- Synced At -- The timestamp when the upload completed successfully.
- Size -- The size of the file being uploaded.
- Target -- The media file name.
Media Types
FMX can sync these media categories to the cloud when the corresponding Cloud tab toggles and workflow outputs are enabled:
- Final Photo -- The processed photo with overlays, filters, and layout applied.
- Raw Photo -- The unprocessed original capture directly from the camera.
- Final GIF -- Animated GIF files generated from multi-frame captures.
- Final Video -- Processed video output.
- Raw Video -- Original recorded video output.
- Final Boomerang -- Boomerang output when the workflow creates it.
Tracking Upload Progress
Each media item displays its upload progress in real time:
- Items move from Pending to Processing as the upload begins.
- File size provides context for expected upload duration -- larger files (especially videos) take longer.
- Items transition to Completed once the file is fully uploaded and confirmed by the cloud.
Tip: If you notice media uploads progressing slowly, check your internet upload speed. Large video files can take significantly longer on connections with limited upload bandwidth.
Actions
- Retry Selected -- Select one or more failed media sync items and click Retry Selected to re-queue them for upload.
- Remove Selected -- Select media items and click Remove Selected to remove the local queue record. This does not delete the original files from disk.
Tip: Original media files remain on the local computer regardless of their queue status. Removing an item from the queue or retrying a failed upload does not affect the files stored locally.
