Queue Management: FMPrint Filter

Updated 5 days ago · 1 min readBeginner

The FMPrint filter displays cloud print jobs submitted by FMX for the selected event. Use it to confirm that print jobs were queued, track their status, and retry jobs that did not submit successfully.

Accessing the FMPrint Filter

  • Open Queue Management from the FMX main interface.
  • Select the FMPrint filter.

FMPrint Columns

The FMPrint filter displays the following columns for each print job:

  • Session -- The local session number associated with the print job.
  • Status -- The current state of the job: Pending, Processing, Completed, or Failed.
  • Media Type -- The print mode or print size, such as 4x6, 6x4, or another configured FMPrint mode.
  • Start Time -- The timestamp when the print job was requested.
  • End Time -- The timestamp when the job was submitted successfully.
  • Target -- The client job ID when available, otherwise the local print job ID.

Actions

  • Retry Selected -- Re-queues failed or pending FMPrint jobs.
  • Remove Selected -- Removes the selected local print queue records and cancels pending work where possible. It does not recall a job that has already been accepted by Cloud or printed by an FMPrint station.

Tip: If FMPrint jobs stay Pending or Failed, confirm the booth has internet access and that the receiving FMPrint station is online and assigned to the event.
