How To Send SMS From the Cloud

Foto Master Cloud can send SMS messages to guests without requiring your own Twilio account. SMS is configured on the Cloud event and then used by FMX during the booth workflow.

Requirements

• A Foto Master Cloud account
• Basic plan or higher
• An event created in the Cloud
• FMX synced to that event
• Internet access during the event

Enable SMS On The Cloud Event

1. Sign in to cloud.fotomaster.com.
2. Open Events and create a new event, or open an existing event.
3. Open the event's SMS settings.
4. Make sure that the SMS is enabled.
5. Select the phone-number type:
   • Foto Master number for the standard Cloud SMS flow.
   • Your own number if your plan and account setup support it.
6. Choose an SMS template or select Custom and write your own message.
7. Save the event.

Configure FMX

1. Open FMX and sync the Cloud event.
2. Confirm the event is selected in FMX.
3. In the event or workflow sharing settings, choose which media should sync to the cloud.
4. In SMS settings, select Foto Master Cloud as the SMS type.
5. Enter the correct country prefix for guest phone numbers.
6. Run a full test session and confirm the SMS arrives.

SMS History

The Cloud event SMS tab includes message history and status filtering. Use it to confirm whether a message was sent, delivered, failed, or still pending.

Troubleshooting

• Confirm SMS is enabled on the Cloud event.
• Confirm FMX is synced after you make Cloud changes.
• Confirm the country prefix is correct.
• Confirm the booth has internet.
• If the guest does not receive the message, check SMS History before changing the workflow.
