Event Settings

Updated Today · 2 min read

Every event in Foto Master Cloud has a comprehensive set of configurable settings that control how your booth operates, how photos are shared, and how the gallery is presented. This article covers all the settings available for an event and how to adjust them.

Accessing Event Settings

  1. Log in to cloud.fotomaster.com.
  2. Navigate to Events and select the event you want to configure.
  3. Click on the desired Event to edit its settings.

You can modify event settings at any time -- before, during, or after the event.

General Settings

The general settings define the basic information about your event:

  • Event Name -- The display name for the event, visible in your dashboard and optionally in the gallery.
  • Event Date -- The scheduled date of the event.
  • Start Time -- When the booth is scheduled to begin operating.
  • Duration -- The expected length of booth operation.
  • Event Status -- Active or completed.

Sharing Settings

Control how guests receive and share their photos:

  • Email Sharing -- Enable or disable email delivery. When enabled, guests can enter their email address to receive their photos. Select which email template to use.
  • SMS Sharing -- Enable or disable SMS delivery. Guests receive a text message with a link to view and download their photos.
  • QR Code -- Enable QR code generation so guests can scan to access their photos or the event gallery.
  • Social Media -- Enable direct sharing buttons on the gallery page, allowing guests to share photos to their social media accounts.

Tip: You can enable multiple sharing methods simultaneously. Many operators use QR codes for instant access at the booth and email for follow-up delivery.

Configure the online gallery for your event:

  • Gallery Visibility -- Set the gallery to public (accessible via link) or private (requires authentication or password and is available for Pro Cloud accounts. See Password Protecting Your Gallery).
  • Gallery Branding -- Apply your custom branding to the gallery, including your logo, colors, and background. See Branding Your Online Galleries.
  • Download Options -- Control whether guests can download their original photos, processed photos, or both.
  • Tip: For corporate events, consider enabling password protection and limiting gallery access to attendees only. For public events and brand activations, a public gallery with social sharing enabled can maximize reach.

Preset Assignment

Assign or change the preset used for this event:

  • Current Preset -- Displays the preset currently assigned to the event.
  • Change Preset -- Browse and select a different preset from your library.

The preset defines the booth workflow (capture flow, AI processing steps, and output) and the layout (how the final photo is composed with overlays, backgrounds, and frames).

See Using the Load Preset Feature for more details.
