Choosing Your Cloud Plan
Foto Master Cloud offers two subscription plans -- Basic and Pro -- designed for photo booth operators of all sizes. There is also a legacy Pay As You Go option for existing lifetime license holders.
💡 Your Cloud subscription is per company, not per device. One subscription covers all your booths and devices.
Basic Plan -- $39/month
- Monthly fee: $39/month (billed annually)
- Best for: Most operators running events regularly
- AI credit pricing: Discounted rates
The Basic plan is the starting point for most operators and includes:
- Online galleries for every event
- Discounted AI credit pricing
- AI face attribute detection
- Full event management and remote booth management
- Email and SMS sharing
- Queue management and session tracking
- Cloud storage and processing
This is the most popular plan for operators who want the full Cloud experience with online galleries and AI enhancements.
Pro Plan -- $79/month
- Monthly fee: $79/month (billed annually)
- Best for: High-volume operators, agencies, and branded experiences
- AI credit pricing: Best available rates (deepest discounts)
The Pro plan includes everything in Basic, plus:
- Best AI credit discounts across all operations
- Custom domain support (use your own URL for galleries)
- Full white-label branding (remove all Foto Master branding)
- All Basic plan features included
Designed for operators who want complete brand control and need to process large volumes of AI-enhanced photos cost-effectively.

Pay As You Go (Legacy)
Note: Pay As You Go is a legacy option available to existing lifetime license holders (pre-January 2025). It is not recommended for new customers.
The PAYG option allows lifetime license holders to access select AI features in their existing software (Version 14) by purchasing credits without a monthly subscription. It does not include online galleries, event management, remote management, or any Cloud platform features.
Important: Downgrading to PAYG from Basic or Pro permanently deletes all events and event-related data. AI credits are retained, but this action cannot be undone. See Managing Your Plan for details.
AI Credit System
Foto Master uses a credit-based system for AI operations:
- Credits are purchased separately from your subscription. Your monthly plan fee does not include credits.
- Each AI operation costs credits. The amount varies by feature type.
- Your plan determines your per-credit price. Higher-tier plans get lower costs per credit.
- Credits do not expire while your account is active.
- Credits are non-refundable and have no cash value, per the Foto Master Terms of Service and Refund Policy.
- Credits are permanently deleted if your account is deleted.
Tip: The credit savings on Basic or Pro quickly offset the monthly subscription cost if you use AI features at even a few events per month.
Hardware Purchases Include Year 1 Free
When you purchase Foto Master hardware, your first year of Cloud service is included at no additional cost. After the first year, choose the plan that fits your needs.
Lifetime License Holders
If you purchased a Foto Master license before January 2025:
- Your lifetime license remains valid indefinitely for software up to Version 14
- You do not pay per device for Cloud AI -- a single company-level subscription covers all your lifetime-licensed devices
- You can use the latest software (FMX) without additional software license fees, requiring only the single Cloud subscription
- You can optionally use PAYG to try select AI features without subscribing
See Licensing: Lifetime vs. Subscription for full details.
Which Plan Should You Choose?
-
New customers and regular operators should start with Basic. It includes everything you need to run professional events with galleries, AI, and sharing.
-
High-volume and branded operators who need custom domains, white-label branding, and the best AI pricing should choose Pro.
Tip: You can upgrade your plan at any time from Cloud > Billing. Upgrades take effect immediately and you're only charged the price difference for the remaining period.

FAQ
Can I switch between Basic and Pro mid-year without losing my events or data?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from Cloud → Billing. Upgrades take effect immediately and you are charged the prorated difference. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. Your events, galleries, and guest data are never deleted when changing plans.
Do AI credits roll over if I do not use them all in a month?
No. AI credits are reset each billing cycle and do not carry over. If you regularly find yourself running out, consider upgrading to a Pro plan (which includes more credits per month at a lower per-credit rate) or topping up with Pay-As-You-Go credits as needed.
I have an older lifetime FMX license. Do I still need a Cloud subscription?
Yes, in most cases. The lifetime license covers the FMX software itself, but Foto Master Cloud is a separate service required for event management, online galleries, AI features, and email/SMS sharing. Without an active Cloud plan, those features are unavailable. Contact support if you are unsure which plan applies to your situation.
What happens to my galleries and guest data if I cancel my subscription?
Your events and galleries remain in your account and guests can still access their gallery links until you delete the events manually. If you cancel and do not resubscribe, you will lose access to Cloud management features (creating new events, viewing analytics, exporting contacts), but existing gallery links continue working for a grace period. See your plan details for the exact data retention policy.
