V-Motion 180: Screen Is Black
If your V-Motion 180 is displaying a black screen, work through the steps below in order.
Step 1: Check Your External Screen Settings
- Open the FMX app and go to Global Settings → External Screen.
- Set the mode to Slideshow and the orientation to Vertical.
Step 2: Check for Event Media Files
If no media files have been added to your event, a black screen is expected — the display has nothing to show. Start the preset to take your first video, and the screen should populate automatically.
Step 3: Close and Relaunch the App
If media files are already in place and the screen is still black, close the FMX app completely and reopen it. This clears most display issues and is often all it takes.
If the black screen persists after completing all three steps, contact support for further assistance.
