Move FMX to Another Computer

Overview
To move your FMX activation to a new computer, first sign out (deactivate) on your current one, then sign in on the new device.

Before You Start

• Ensure you have an active internet connection.

• Have your FMX login or license key ready.

Step 1 — Sign Out on the Old Computer

1. Open FMX.

2. Go to Settings → Global Settings 

3. Click Logout at the bottom left of the screen.

4. Confirm when prompted — this frees up your activation seat.

   

   
   

Step 2 — Activate on the New Computer

1. Install FMX on the new computer.

2. Open FMX and sign in with the same account or enter your license key.

3. Follow the on-screen steps until activation completes.

If You Can’t Access the Old Computer

If your old device is lost, damaged, or unavailable, contact Foto Master Support to release the activation.
Have your license key or purchase details ready.

What Stays the Same

• Signing out doesn’t delete your projects or settings on the old computer.

• Activation only determines which devices can run FMX under your license.

Troubleshooting

• “Too many activations” or “activation limit reached” — Sign out on the old computer or contact support.

• Sign-out or activation failed — Check your internet connection and system time, restart FMX, and try again.

• Lost login or license key — Use your account email to reset your password or contact support.
