How to Present Live Digital Mosaic on a Secondary Monitor

Overview

Two methods for displaying your Photo Mosaic Wall activation on a secondary monitor.

Method 1: Wired HDMI Connection

Requirements

  • HDMI cable
  • External keyboard and mouse

Setup Process

  1. Connect your laptop to the secondary monitor using an HDMI cable
  2. Right-click your desktop and select Display settings
  3. Under Multiple displays, choose Extend these displays
  4. Open the Live Digital Mosaic software and drag it to the second screen
  5. Press Ctrl+F to activate full-screen mode and begin your presentation

Method 2: Wireless Chromecast Setup

Requirements

  • Google Chromecast device
  • External video card (USB to HDMI adapter)
  • Network connectivity (LAN, WiFi, or hotspot)
  • External keyboard and mouse

Setup Steps

  1. Connect to the internet and activate your hotspot if needed
  2. Attach the external video card to your computer's USB 3.0 port
  3. Connect Chromecast to your display and power source
  4. Set up Chromecast following device instructions
  5. Right-click desktop and select Display settings
  6. Choose Extend these displays for multiple displays
  7. Open Google Chrome browser
  8. Click the menu button (top right) and select Cast
  9. Choose Cast desktop as your source
  10. Your digital mosaic will display on the secondary monitor
