2D Mosaic Upload Button and Email Notifications

Overview

The V4 software introduces functionality allowing clients to upload photos directly from websites and receive email notifications about their photo placement on mosaic boards.

Key Features

Online Mosaic Setup

The system requires enabling cloud uploads first:

1. Go to the Online tab
2. Check the Enable Auto Upload to Cloud box

This begins uploading tiles sequentially, with upload status visible below the option.

Interactive Viewer Access

The Open 2D Interactive Mosaic / 3D Mosaic Viewer button launches browser-based access where activation URLs can be copied and shared with clients for photo uploads.

Photo Display

"The photos that will be presented in the 2D Interactive Mosaic will be the original photos without the changes applied due to settings chosen (such as the Green Screen algorithm, Opacity, or Colorization Correction)."

Important Configuration Notes

• Users applying modifications to online activations should press the Generate Embed Code button to update settings
• To display photos as they appear when printed, remove the useOrig=true value from the embed code

Email Notifications

Email notifications can be sent to participants with information about their tile position:

• Configure From Email, Subject, and Message
• Available template variables: {name}, {column}, {row}, {url}, {url3d}
• HTML supported (e.g., <br/> for line breaks)

Upload Form Customization

Custom upload forms support these parameters:

• Mandatory: pid, event_name
• Optional: isName, isEmail, isMessage, redirectUrl, isOptIn, optInTxt

Content moderation option available: download approved photos before they're added to the mosaic.
