FMX for iPad: Sharing Methods
What Sharing Settings Control
In FMX for iPad, guests can receive their photos via email, SMS, or QR code.
Sharing Methods
- QR Code — displays a scannable QR code on the FMX screen after the session. The guest scans with their phone to access their photo. No contact info required. Fastest sharing method.
- SMS — prompts the guest for their phone number and sends a link via text. Requires an active SMS quota in your Cloud account.
- Email — prompts the guest for their email address and sends their photo link. Uses the email template configured in Cloud.
Testing Sharing Before an Event
- Run a full test session and use your own phone number and email to test both SMS and email delivery.
- Confirm the link opens correctly and shows the correct photo.
- Confirm the QR code scans successfully with both iPhone and Android cameras.
