Foto Master Licenses Explained

What Is a Foto Master License?

A Foto Master software license activates eligible Foto Master software on a specific device. Without an active license, the software may prompt for login credentials but will not allow you to run events.

Your license is tied to your Foto Master Cloud account. When you sign in to the software on your booth device, the license is automatically validated through your account.

License Types

• Subscription License - A monthly or annual subscription that keeps the software active as long as the subscription is paid. Updates are included during the active subscription period.
• Lifetime License (Legacy) - A one-time purchase that activates the software permanently on one device. It may include updates for a defined period, depending on the terms of the purchase. No recurring license fee applies after purchase.

Platform-Specific Licenses

Some Foto Master software products may require separate licenses based on the platform, such as Windows or iPad. A license for one platform may not activate the same software on another platform. If you operate multiple booth types or platforms, make sure you have the appropriate license for each device and software version.

How Many Devices Per License?

Each license activates one device at a time. If you have three booths running simultaneously, you need three active licenses. Contact Foto Master to add licenses to your account.

Activating Your License

1. Install the Foto Master software on the booth device.
2. Open the software and sign in with your Foto Master Cloud email and password.
3. The software will check your account for an available license and activate automatically.
4. If you have more than one available license, the software will show you a list of licenses to choose from.

Transferring a License to a New Device

If you replace a booth device, you can transfer the license. Simply log out of the software on the old device, then log in on the new device using your Foto Master Cloud account. The license will be validated and activated on the new device if it is available for use.

Viewing and Managing Your Licenses

You can view and manage your licenses directly from your Foto Master Cloud account.

1. Log in to cloud.fotomaster.com.
2. Click the Licenses tab.
3. From there, you can view all licenses connected to your account, including which licenses are active, inactive, expired, or available for use.

In the Licenses tab, you can also manage your licenses, including adding more licenses, renewing existing licenses, or adding 24/7 Support to a specific license when available. This section is your main license management area inside Foto Master Cloud.
