Getting Started with AGWall

Updated 5 days ago · 2 min readBeginner

This guide walks you through setting up AGWall software and running your first Air Graffiti Wall event.

System Requirements

  • Windows PC (Windows 10 or later)
  • A dedicated GPU is recommended for smooth rendering
  • USB ports for spray can controllers/sensors
  • HDMI or DisplayPort output for projector connection
  • Internet connection (for Cloud features)

Installation

  1. Download AGWall from the link in your Foto Master Cloud dashboard
  2. Run the installer and follow the setup wizard
  3. Launch AGWall and sign in with your Cloud credentials
  4. Connect your projector and verify the display output

Projector Setup

  1. Position the projector to fill your desired wall area. Short-throw projectors work best in tight spaces.
  2. Adjust focus and keystone until the projected image is sharp and rectangular
  3. Set the resolution in AGWall to match your projector's native resolution
  4. Calibrate the projection area in AGWall settings to map the software canvas to the physical wall

Tip: Test your projection during setup time, not during the event. Ambient light changes can affect visibility -- dim the room as much as possible for the best experience.

Spray Can Calibration

  1. Open the Foto Master calibration tool
  2. Run the calibration routine -- spray at the designated targets on the wall
  3. Verify tracking accuracy and adjust sensitivity if needed

Creating Your First Event

  1. In AGWall, click New Event
  2. Set the event name, date, and duration
  3. Choose a background template (blank canvas or branded background)
  4. Configure colors, brush sizes, and effects available to guests
  5. Set session duration (how long each guest gets to spray)
  6. Save and start the event

Tips for a Great Experience

  • Provide brief instructions to guests -- most pick it up quickly after a short demo
  • Have a staff member nearby for the first few sessions to help guests get started
  • Rotate background templates throughout the event for variety
  • Save the best artwork to share on social media
