Lead Distribution Platform (LDP) Overview

Updated Yesterday · 5 min read

The Foto Master Lead Distribution Platform (LDP) routes incoming rental leads to Foto Master operators based on the product they own and the geographic area they cover. When someone submits a rental inquiry for a Foto Master product through the LDP website form, the platform matches that lead to one eligible operator and hands it to them as a "win".

This article explains the core LDP concepts: coins, coverage areas, leads, and wins.

What LDP Does

Foto Master receives rental requests for attractions like Mirror Air Booth, Draw Me Bot, Mirror Me Booth, and Air Graffiti Wall. Rather than competing for those leads or routing them by hand, LDP assigns each lead automatically to a single operator who:

  • Owns a license for the product the prospect asked about.
  • Has an active 24/7 Support plan on that license (which automatically grants your LDP entitlement).
  • Has placed a coin on the map that physically covers the event location.

You stake out the areas you want to receive leads for by placing coins on a map inside Foto Master Cloud. When a lead arrives inside one of your coverage circles for a matching product, the LDP evaluates candidates and awards it based on platform fairness logic.

Entitlement Requirement: A license can use its coins only when its 24/7 Support plan is active. If support expires, all 5 coins on that license automatically switch to Locked status and cannot participate in lead matching until you renew. Support and auto-renewals are managed directly under Cloud > Licenses.

Coins

A coin is the unit of coverage in the Lead Distribution Platform (LDP). Each coin represents a circular boundary on the map defined by a center point and a service radius. A lead is considered "covered" by your coin when its geocoded event location falls within that circle.

  • 5 Coins Per License: Every valid Foto Master license with active 24/7 Support includes 5 LDP coins dedicated to that specific software product. For example, a Mirror Me Booth license grants you 5 Mirror Me Booth coins, while a Draw Me Bot license grants you 5 Draw Me Bot coins. Coins are strictly tied to their license and are not transferable between different products.
  • One Coin, One Location: A single coin covers one geographical area at a time. To establish coverage across multiple cities or distinct markets, you must place separate coins.
  • Coin status:
    • Available: The coin is allocated to your license but has not yet been placed on the map.
    • Placed: The coin is live on the map and actively eligible to match incoming leads for its product within its radius.
    • Locked: The 24/7 Support plan on the underlying license has expired. Locked coins cannot match or win leads until support is renewed.

Coverage Radius

Each coin can be adjusted to a custom radius within the defined limits of your license plan:

PlanMinimum radiusMaximum radius
Basic50 miles100 miles
Pro20 miles200 miles

💡 Note: The Pro plan offers a smaller minimum radius - ideal for dense, highly competitive urban markets - as well as a much larger maximum radius to easily cover expansive rural regions from a single placement.

Leads, Matches, and Wins

A lead is a rental inquiry submitted through Foto Master’s public LDP form. Each submission automatically captures the product type, event date, and location coordinates.

When a lead is submitted, the matching engine instantly evaluates all live, active coins that cover the event location for that matching product. From those eligible candidates, the platform calculates a fairness score. The lead is awarded to the operator with the lowest win count, using a random tie-breaker if multiple operators are tied.

Once a lead is won, it is securely locked to that single winning operator—no other customer can see or claim it. Wins appear immediately in your My Wins list with full client contact details for direct follow-up.

When No Coin Covers a Lead

If a lead arrives in an uncovered territory, the LDP initiates a real-time Uncovered Campaign rather than dropping the inquiry.

  • Smart Nearby Alerts: The system searches outward from the lead location in expanding intervals (200, 300, 400, and 500 miles) to find nearby eligible operators who possess a valid license for that product . These alerts respect strict geographic boundaries (e.g., a US lead will not alert an operator in another country unless explicitly configured).

  • First-to-Respond Claims: Eligible nearby operators receive an instant email and in-app notification. The first operator to place or move a qualifying coin over the event location and save their changes wins the lead instantly.

Moving an active coin to target these temporary openings is highly strategic and allows you to capture business outside your day-to-day market footprint.

What Keeps a Coin Active

Coin activity is entirely dependent on your license status.

Your coins remain active as long as your 24/7 Support status is valid. This status, along with your 24/7 Auto Renewal settings, can be tracked directly inside Cloud > Licenses.

The moment support expires, all 5 coins on that license automatically switch to Locked. They will remain visible on your map workspace (displayed as visually muted) and inside your panel with a Renew CTA. Renewing your support plan instantly restores all locked coins back to Active status at their exact previous map coordinates and radius settings—no manual repositioning required.

Where to Find LDP

LDP lives in cloud.fotomaster.com, under the LDP section in the main navigation. You will see:

  • A full-screen map with your placed coins and their coverage circles
  • A My Coins panel grouped by product and license, with Active and Locked sections
  • A My Wins list of leads you have won
  • A Lead Activity feed with notifications about wins, losses-in-area, uncovered opportunities, and renewals
  • Map controls for searching by city, switching between map and satellite views, and filtering by product

Next Steps

  1. Placing Coins on the Map -- Drag coins onto the map, adjust radius, and save
  2. Wins and Notifications -- Review won leads and respond to uncovered opportunities
  3. Foto Master Cloud -- Cloud account, licenses, and subscription management
