Pylon iPad Booth: Software Setup
Prerequisites
- FMX for iPad installed from the App Store
- Active Foto Master Cloud account and iPad license
- Event created in Cloud with preset assigned
- iPad connected to Wi-Fi
Setup Steps
- Open FMX on the iPad. Tap Sign In and enter your Foto Master Cloud credentials.
- Your iPad license activates automatically. If prompted for a license code, find it in Cloud → Account → Licenses.
- Tap Load Event (or Select, Sync, Play). Choose your event from the list and tap Sync.
- In Global Settings → Camera, confirm the front or rear camera is set correctly for your workflow. Run a preview to check framing.
- In Global Settings → Printing, configure your printer. For DNP printers connected via Wi-Fi or Apple AirPrint, select the printer from the list.
- Tap Play and run a full test session — photo, sharing, and print.
Tip: Enable Guided Access (Settings → Accessibility → Guided Access) to prevent guests from leaving FMX and accessing other iPad apps during an event.
